Dr. Adeoye, the current Ag. Coordinator of Department of Geosciences, Mountain Top University obtained B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. degree in Geology (Petroleum Geology and Sedimentology option) from University of Ilorin in 2005, 2011 and 2017 respectively. He has about ten certifications from African Management Institute, Kenya and ICT inclined with proficiency in software applications such as PetroMod, Petrel Fundamentals, Integrated Geochemistry Interpretation (IGI), Microsoft Office, Corel Draw, etc. Adeoye has strong passion for teaching and research. He has been involved in various geological field work in sedimentary and crystalline basement terrains in Nigeria. He is a Member of Geosciences professional bodies such as Nigeria Mining and Geoscience Society (NMGS), Nigerian Association of Petroleum Explorationists (NAPE), and American Association of Petroleum Geologist (AAPG). Adeoye has attended and presented papers in local and international conferences and badged the award of best paper presenter in 2012 Mini-NAPE conference and was consequently sponsored by Total Oil and Gas to represent the paper at the 30th ICE of Nigerian Association of Petroleum Explorationists in 2012 at Lagos. He is also the recipient of the MGS/TOTAL First Prize award for the paper presented at the 52nd Nigerian Mining and Geosciences Society ICE, in 2016 at Ilorin, Kwara State. Total Oil and Gas sponsored him for a week visit to her Scientific Laboratories in Pau, France in 2017 where he saw State-of-the-Art Technology in Oil and Gas industry and as well received series of instrument demonstrations and seminars ranging from basic geosciences disciplines to Industry Best Practices and HSE. His areas of research interest are paleoenvironmental, biostratigraphic and organic geochemical studies as well as basin and petroleum system modeling (BPSM) of Cretaceous basins in Nigeria with emphasis on Dahomey basin. He has six published papers in local and international journals. Dr. Adeoye is joyfully married to Temitope R. Adeoye and they are blessed with children.
